輻射線-由輻射線引起的種種-2011.3
輻射線暴露可能會增加體內傷害性氫氧根自由基的產生(藉由體內水分分解產生)。幅射線會誘發細胞變化進而引起癌症。輻射線可能會增加甲狀腺癌等各種形式癌症的風險。

1.β胡蘿蔔素可以有效抵抗許多輻射線暴露的毒性
2. 碘,也許能夠減緩輻射線所引起的疾病(特別是甲狀腺疾病),碘酸钾是碘最好的形式去對抗過量暴露輻射線所引起疾病
3.硒可幫忙中和輻射線的毒性,出現的亞硒酸鈉跟L是沒有毒性的(請查看化學中的亞硒酸鈉的化學性)

鋅可能可以減少幅射線的致死率
 
維他命C幫助提升身體的免疫力以抵抗過度輻射線的毒性

天竺鼠被注射大量的維他命C合併黄酮的劑量,如此可抵抗兩次已知的致命性輻射線
。維他命C可減少由鈽輻射線所引起的血液與細胞的退化。

Exposure to radioactivity may increase the production of harmful hydroxyl free radicals within the body (by “splitting” the body’s water content). Radioactivity induces mutations to cells that can lead to cancer). Radioactivity may increase the risk of many forms of cancer of which Thyroid cancer risk is increased

Beta-Carotene can be protective against many of the toxic effects of exposure to radioactivity. Reference 1

Iodine may alleviate radiation sickness (specifically the damage to the thyroid) that occurs as a result of exposure to radioactivity (radioactive Iodine-131). The best form of Iodine for protecting against radiation sickness after exposure to excessive radioactivity is potassium Iodate. Reference 2 

Selenium can help counteract the toxicity of exposure to radioactivity. It is clear that the sodium selenite and L Reference 3
Please take note of the selenium as a chemical - sodium selenite below.

Zinc may reduce the lethality of exposure to radioactivity.

Vitamin C helps improve the ability of the body to resist the toxic effects of exposure to radioactivity:

Guinea pigs that were supplemented with large dosages of Vitamin C combined with Bioflavonoids were able to withstand twice the known lethal dosages of Radioactivity.
Vitamin C decreases the bleeding and cell degeneration that occurs as a result of exposure to plutonium radioactivity.
